English Medium vs Hindi Medium for SSC Preparation

I did my schooling in Hindi medium but I'm thinking of giving SSC exams in English because the study material is much better. I checked the latest pattern on sarkari result and the English section carries a lot of weight. Will it be too hard to switch now?
